The dawg house will be open late tonight.  2 guests will be checking in around 10pm.  Annie & Kramer will be staying with us until Sunday.  I will post pictures of them tomorrow.  Lucy is still here.  She has to spend an extra night and when I told her she said she was so excited because she loves to play with Woody and even though she is soooo happy when she sees her pet companion, Mike.

Stopped by to see Rosie and Olive today.  Rosie doesn't appear to as crabby and grumpy as she has been on previous visits.  She told me that she looks forward to seeing me everyday as her pet companions are out of town.  Olive loves to lay around when I stop by.  She told me there was not much going on in the neighborhood..

What a challenging day at the Nurturing Nanny's.  All the dogs were restless and talking and barking frequently.  Kizzy who lives downstairs did not want to stay downstairs and dug her way under the fence into the front yard.  She told me she was bored out of her gourd down there.  I had to call her pet companion, Ginger, to come over and talk with her and let her know that this would not last forever.  Kizzy talked her pet companion into taking her with her.  Ted and Bill who also live downstairs said that they were happy to hang out and stay at home.

Olive

I am pet caring for a couple of cats named  Rosie and Olive.  When I pull up in the car, Olive is right there like clockwork to greet me.  Olive told me that in a previous life she was a dog and cannot break the habit even if she wanted to.  Now Rosie is a cat of a different color.  She is very cranky and complains incessantly.  She told me that she really does not like people or other animals for that matter but in the real world she is dependent on people to meet her needs with food and water.  Rose will on occasion will allow me to pet her but only for a second.  One thing Rosie really loves is her treats.  She carries on like a wounded animal whenever I put them on the floor.

yum yum

Another day in the life of Buddy, Willie & Woody

Buddy, Willie, Woody & Lucy have told me that they are really enjoying this weather in Nashville today.  Nanny Katie even walked us early and Willie said he never even broke a sweat.  We just had dinner and Buddy says that he loves to clean out the dog food can when it is empty.

Monday, Monday

Weather has cooled down and the dogs love it.  Much easier to walk them during the day.  Willie spent the day outside sleeping on the grass and in the sun.  He is a dogs dog.  Buddy and Woody hung out in the house.  I practically had to kick them out.  Of course, when I vacuumed, they all went out.  All sleeping now.  Great days.

The Nurturing Nanny dawg house has one visitor today and will be bedding down with us until Sunday.  Her name is Lucy.  She loves to stay at Nanny Katie's because her best friend, Woody, is here.  Right now they are all snoozing in the living room waiting for me to call it a night.
